Hockey Essentials was founded in 2007 with visions to create a program to assist players to develop their skills along with the exposure to take their game to the next level. Most recently Hockey Essentials has merged forces with Tri State Stars operated by Mark Lotito. Paul Losik founder of Hockey Essentials looks forward to grow our program for 2020 with our 8th Annual Northeastern College Showcase in Woodbridge, NJ.
Hockey Essentials will offer Select All Star Spring/Summer Teams for 2020 for Birth Years 2014 to 2000 to develop players and present them with ‘hockey options’ and opportunities for setting goals to reach for that next level. Our goal is to expose these players to highest level of competition possible and help them advance in their game at the top prospect tournaments in North America.
Our staff takes pride in our Hockey Essentials Program and our continuous success for helping each individual player, while presenting these select players with opportunities that are made available to them through contacts that our program has established in the hockey community. Hockey player between the years of Peewee and Midget are the most important to gain development and exposure within the vast hockey community. Hockey Essentials focuses on these important developmental years to expose our players to the highest level of competition.
Our program is designed that our on ice sessions and camps for local players are hockey-specific on and off the ice that will work on all the basic skills required in playing the game of hockey. The Hockey Essentials Staff keeps the training with a most competitive and positive environment for the off season while demonstrating challenging drills to advance the individual skill set of each player. Throughout each session, players will most frequently be handling a puck, as our programs will improve each player's athleticism and it will build confidence in their puck handling skills, shooting, and play making ability in various game situations while also learning how to play the game away from the puck.
